Y Drive PTBO Launched it's first city, in it's home town of Peterborough Ontario!
Y-Drive PTBO has officially launched its ridesharing services for residents in the Peterborough area.
Co-owner Rob Davidson says it’s a Peterborough-based company providing a much needed service to the community.
In the past Y-Drive has offered designated driving services, while the idea of ridesharing has been in the works for a few years now. Davidson says he’s been working closely with McDougall Insurance to make sure it’s safe for riders, and has been working with council as they work their way through a by-law.
Davidson says one of the things that sets Y-Drive apart from other rideshare services is the local focus, and understanding that Peterborough can’t be compared to larger cities.
